Very simple and pretty, and easy to use! Wonderful, uncommon words to make yourself sound smart :D Easy to navigate and keeps you learning with a nice little reminder every day. Plus you can look at words from previous days as well!

Had a friend tell me 20 years ago learn a word each day from a dictionary, to increase your vocabulary. This technology makes it simple to use. Excellent app, use it.

This app is very simplistic. A new word every day, and thats that.

This app disgusts me. It is a perfect case of people taking things too far and abusing their positions. This app is well designed and developed, however; the writer in charge of making the examples for the words is extremely childish, bias, uneducated, and inaccurate. He/she decides to focus more on slamming the Republican party instead of providing helpful and educational examples and definitions. He also makes several grammatical mistakes while doing so. Very annoying. Very childish. And Im not even a republican.

If youve taken an AP English course, you probably know most of these words. This is great for reminding you to use them! Its also a pleasant surprise when you dont know the word of the day, and luckily you can access the entire lexicon anytime you like! (See what I did there?)

I love it! Very informative!

I was looking into apps that do things similar to this one, but a great use for this with teaching is that students can favorite the words that theyd like to use in their writing. Ive found that having students do 2-3 words a week in a sentence helps them to expand their vocabulary and enrich their writing. I would suggest it to students and to parents or prospective writers purely for the variety here.
